11:18:57 CET Contemplating about last night with a nice cup of coffee (started as a quick aperitif, which turned into a late dinner ). I have dual feelings about it; on one side, it was great fun and, at the same time, it had an underlying sad feeling.
We met up with friends (the amazing kind) who recently received some bad news that will change lives. It will force them into challenging times, to say the least. We are all scared and deals with it differently. Yesterday we could come together to channel it together. It was one way for us to escape to a pretend normality, sharing special moments. Back to a place where challenges had another meaning, tears didn't burn as they do today.
It's clear; we have to help each other and be the support needed. We will be a true friend; one who lends a listening ear and picks up the other one if need.
