J has a day off today, but he will have his tutor (in chemistry) coming by soon.
22:23:29 CET The day is about to end; it's been a tiresome but great day. Constructive in many ways, for all of us here. J spent the day studying (chemistry and Dutch) followed by working out with a friend in our home gym.
The surprise for our neighbour ladies I mentioned yesterday was well received; they really liked "the weekly newsletter". A fun thing for someone who is bound to a hospital room for weeks. Nice to hear from the "outside world", something else that breaks the hospital routines and to read about what's going on back home.
We also have some plans for the veranda, making it even better than it already is. The idea is to rearrange some furniture around making it a better layout in general. Could be really nice, in fact!
