09:49:41 CET Still enjoying the coffee (took the time to ground the coffee beans as mentioned earlier ) that was prepared for this Monday morning. In the true monday-morning spirit the week started - everyone of us went off to school, work and homeoffice as normal.
The 3D print I did yesterday was OK, so I printed it again as I was not very happy with the quality. It was a lot of stringing in particular. I researched the slicing settings and found some issues. It's better, but not perfect. I think the filament (I changed to have enough) is the main cause of the issue as it's one of the oldest I still have laying around. I started a new 3D print today, it's a 7 hours job this time. It's one of my own designs (I made in FreeCad) some time ago which I am really curious how it will turn out. I am saving the timelaps and hopefully I can post it here later...
23:05:25 CET The 3D print turned out great. It so satisfying when the print turns out great, when all comes together. It's a great when both the design and it serves a functional value. Those are the best and that really gives such a rush. Today I managed to complete not one, but two such 3D print jobs; the "Crumbuster" (my own design, more to come soon) and all four corner mounting pieces for a tool board. Fantastic, I love 3D design and printing!
We also had someone over to have a look at our WC on the first floor; it has to be replaced. What makes it a little bit tricky is the old piping, it has to be replaced as well. It was a good meeting and we'll see the next steps.
Did you know? 09:51:30 CET Did you know... that today in 1972 sergeant Shoichi Yokoi is found hiding in a Guam jungle, where he had been since the end of World War II.
