19:28:29 CET OK, my second day as a 49 year old was good so far. My friend B is celebrating his birthday today and in two days childhood friend J in Sweden has his birthday too. I also know some others who's got their birthdays around this time too - everyone within a week. Difficult to keep up with all the social media update/presence .
OK, so not sure where to start... I am very cautious mentioning and writing about the following topic. I do NOT want to jinx it, if you know what I mean. But, you who follow this knows about my neighbor ladies and the situation they are in. I am so indescribable happy, especially in this format (it would take too long), when there are positive news. I just had to mention it this time. I'll stop about that here...
Another crazy thing, but completely on another level, is the bad weather and the storm that just keep going. Now it's even got a new name, Eunice became Franklin. Eunice took off our roof. We have started an insurance case about that and tomorrow the company who laid a complete new roof not even 5 years ago, will come over and ...no not fix it, but take photos and documenting it. We will see where it leads to and how long it will take. Belgian efficiency!
The storm Franklin continued its destructive journey - it took down a tree here. Yes, the neighbors of our neighbor got a big treeFranklin took down this tree. Behind/in the tree there is a car somewhere... on their driveway. It actually fell and crushed the mailbox and covered the parking space minutes after she left with their son...
Something completely unrelated; I continued this evening with some more work on the new site. Soon I can show you something. Interesting because I learn so much about the Bootstrap framework. Really cool stuff actually, I saved some new useful links in my Bookmark page!
Did you know? 20:03:27 CET Did you know... that today in 1965 Malcolm X is assassinated while giving a talk at the Audubon Ballroom in Harlem.
